Aurora viewing often means travelling to remote, high-latitude regions in extreme cold. Temperatures can plunge to −30°C or below, roads may be icy or unmaintained, and mobile signal is unreliable. Always check local weather and road conditions, dress in proper thermal layers, carry emergency supplies, and consider hiring a local guide or joining an organised tour — especially in unfamiliar territory. Never venture alone into wilderness areas without informing someone of your plans.

I enjoyed watching the Perseids Meteor Shower in London this morning. The sky was dark and clear, perfect for the viewing experience. I got to see many meteors directly from my line of sight.
